Meet Our New Pro-Life Issue Chairman

We are thrilled to announce that Mary Summa has agreed to serve as our Pro-Life issue chair. Mary is a decades-long Eagle Forum ally and a great friend who garnered tremendous respect during her illustrious Capitol Hill career as an advisor to the late Senator Jesse Helms on family and values issues. Life Has NO Compromise

We are told that to stand on any principle not in-line with the progressive agenda is to be an extremist, that unless you are willing to give ground on every issue you are “unreasonable” and possibly even “dangerous.”

Anticipating A New Pro-Life Administration

After surviving a heated political season, those in the pro-life movement look forward to a new administration with the promise of strong, life-affirming judicial and legislative action. The nation’s 45th president will be sworn in on January 20, 2017, just two days shy of the 44th anniversary of the passage of Roe v. Wade, which ushered in abortion on demand in this country. Many will greet our new president with hope and prayers.

PLS CALL: Congressional Hearing & PP activists descend on Capitol Hill

Senate Vote on Planned Parenthood – please call!

Your calls to Congress worked! Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced yesterday that the Senate will have a cloture vote Thursday on a Continuing Resolution (CR) that funds the government through December 11th and includes H.R. 3134, passed by the House of Representatives last Friday, stopping Planned Parenthood funding for one year and redirecting funds to Federally Qualified Health Centers. These health centers not only provide more comprehensive health services, but they also outnumber Planned Parenthood clinics across the nation 20 to 1. By redirecting federal funding away from Planned Parenthood, America’s largest abortion provider, Congress is continuing to fund women’s health care through centers that give more options and more services to women.

Congress Must Exercise Its Power of the Purse

Whenever Republicans and conservatives gather among themselves – and I’ve been to many such meetings in recent months – people talk about the need for new leadership in Washington. Every day I hear Republican voters expressing disappointment with the Republicans who occupy the top jobs in the U.S. House and Senate.

Have you seen the Planned Parenthood videos?

Over the summer, the Center for Medical Progress released eight undercover videos that reveal the true nature of Planned Parenthood and its partners. The videos show Planned Parenthood clearly trying to wring every dollar it can out of every abortion it performs, undermining its claim to be a “non-profit women’s health organization.”
