The whole nation watched as State Senator Wendy Davis filibustered the Texas State Senate for 12 hours as she stalled common-sense, life-saving measures for women and the unborn. Although Senator Davis would like you to think she is standing up for women and their right to control their bodies, what she was really doing was protecting the horrific practices of doctors like Kermit Gosnell – which we are finding to be the status quo not the exception – even in Texas.

You may have heard about the shameful debacle in Austin last week when hundreds of protesters stalled a pro-life omnibus in the State Senate. If the vote had been taken 5 minutes earlier, common-sense, lifesaving measures would have been put into place for women and unborn babies.

The House of Representatives is scheduled to consider H.R. 1797, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act TOMORROW. This bill is a nationwide ban on abortions after 20 weeks.

Late-term abortionist Kermit Gosnell, who was found guilty on three counts of murder, was allowed to maintain his “house of horrors” style abortion clinic with no oversight. He mutilated women and fully developed pre-born babies in what the Grand Jury report identified as a “regulatory collapse.”
