Sri Lanka seems like a faraway place, but it isn’t. Among the dead were four Americans. That devastating attack was not directed at Sri Lanka, but was a calculated attack on Christianity and the West. Two Catholic churches and one evangelical church were attacked, as were hotels that catered to Western clients. The international airport was also targeted, but not successfully. This came on the heels of the Christchurch attack, in which one man targeted mosques; and the Sri Lanka minister of defense claims this latest attack was in response to it.

The Christchurch attack was actually carried out by Brenton Tarrant, a man allied with the National Bolshevik Party as evidenced from symbols in his “manifesto.”
The National Bolsheviks are a Russia-based organization founded by Aleksandr Dugin, a political strategist with ties to Putin and the Russian military. Under his vision of “Eurasianism,” the organization seeks to unify fascist and communist groups around the world, “including Germany, Central and Eastern Europe, the former Soviet republics, Turkey, Iran, and Korea into a grand Eurasian Union strong enough to defeat the West.”
Tarrant’s manifesto makes clear that he wanted to provoke civil war in the U.S. that would “balkanize society” and “reduce the USA’s ability to project power globally.” He also mouths numerous socialist dog whistles like “anti-imperialism,” “environmentalism,” “anti-globalism,” and “anti-industrialization.” These slogans also animate much of the National Bolshevik narrative.
No informed conservative has these sentiments, but all conservatives, and President Trump, have been smeared with the brush of “white supremacy.”
Meanwhile, few leftists could utter the word “Christian” in describing the main targets in Sri Lanka. Former President Obama and Hillary Clinton called the victims “Easter worshippers.” Noted antisemite Ilhan Omar said, “No person, of any faith, should be fearful in their house of worship,” a condescending allusion to the Christchurch attack that never mentioned the Christian targets in Sri Lanka. Should we be fearful outside our houses of worship, Ilhan? Far Left sensation Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez couldn’t find it in her heart to say anything.
Despite claims that the Notre Dame fire was an accident, there were 875 acts of vandalism, including fire, against Catholic churches in France in 2018. Oddly, officials made this pronouncement before they even had time to review the evidence. Notre Dame’s Chief of Architecture publicly refuted claims that the fire started due to faulty wiring, adding that because oak is difficult to burn, “It would take a really combustible load at the start of such a fire for it to rapidly develop into the disaster we saw… In 40 years of experience, I have never heard of a fire like this.”
A March 2019 Newsweek article states, “Catholic Churches Are Being Desecrated Across France — and Officials Don’t Know Why.” Seriously? Are they perplexed by the daily assaults, rapes, and murders in Europe being perpetrated by Muslims screaming “Allahu Akbar”? You cannot even ask, because you might be identified as an “Islamophobe.”
Esam Omeish is a Libyan-born American physician, and Chief of Surgery at a northern Virginia hospital. In the wake of the New Zealand shootings, Omeish posted on Facebook a list of words that he defines as “Islamophobic.”
So, if Islamophobia is defined by all these terms, then if we discuss the latest incident of Islamic terrorism, we are the ones doing the killing? And how does one react to someone who is out there “killing?” Does a negative reaction justify Islamic terrorism? If you read U.N. resolution 16/18, “Combating intolerance, negative stereotyping and stigmatization of, and discrimination, incitement to violence and violence against persons based on religion or belief”, you will learn that the answer is YES! It is our reaction to events like 9/11 that has oppressed Muslims and caused them to respond with violence, according to the U.N.
Omeish is the former president of the Muslim American Society, a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood’s foremost front groups in the U.S. He is also a board member at the Dar al Hijra mosque in Falls Church, Virginia. Anwar al-Awlaki, who inspired Ft. Hood shooter Nidal Hassan and many others before he was killed in a drone strike in Yemen, led Dar al Hijra before he fled overseas. Dar al Hijra also assisted three of the 9/11 attackers. But can we question if Dar al Hijra is a jihadi mosque? Not aloud, according to Mr. Omeish.
All symbols of the West, and much of its character, laws, and traditions are under direct assault. The Left seeks to balkanize our nation. The Left and its Muslim allies have sought to silence their political enemies by accusing them of “hate speech.” And whites, with their “privilege” and “racism,” “Islamophobia,” are always the “haters.” The Democrat Party is fully on board with this rhetoric, including ridiculous statements from some candidates disavowing and apologizing for their “whiteness.”
At the same time, leftists embedded in government, media, education, and entertainment promote almost universal misinformation about our nation’s founding, its culture, traditions, and laws, while seeking to import millions who hog our welfare resources, take our jobs, and do not assimilate, but promise to deliver votes to Democrats either legally or illegally. The ultimate goal is a permanent majority for the Left. U.S. elections would become a trivial formality.
This effort is much further along overseas, where in many nations, “hate” speech laws make it illegal to even describe what is happening, while citizens are routinely harassed, raped, and murdered in the streets by “migrants” and Islamic terrorists. The 2018 U.N. Compact on Migration further guarantees that efforts to squelch freedom of speech will accelerate. Marcel de Graaff, a member of the Dutch Party for Freedom, warned what the Compact would mean:
[A]lthough this joint agreement isn’t binding, it’s still meant to be the legal framework on which the participating countries commit themselves to build new legislation. One basic element of this new agreement is the extension of the definition of hate speech. The agreement want [sic] to criminalize migration speech. Criticism of migration will become a criminal offense, and media outlets… that give room to criticism of migration can be shut down. The compact for migration is legalization of mass migration. [Emphasis added.] It’s declaring migration as a human right. So in fact, it will become impossible to criticize Ms. [German Chancellor Angela] Merkel’s “welcome migrants” policies, without being at risk to be jailed for hate speech.
We hear frequently that liberals “mean well,” but they just happen to be wrong. The American Left and the Left overseas are not a “loyal opposition,” nor do they have good motives. They are an enemy fifth column, operating under the protection of our laws. They seek nothing less than the complete destruction of the West.
Who will stand up against this onslaught? President Trump is the first in recent history to even take a stab at it. He has the right instincts, but is overwhelmed by the full-throated, relentless attack on his character and legitimacy being perpetrated by Congress, the Democrats, and the courts.
We must stand against the onslaught right now. President Trump is the first in recent history to try.
