We have seen first-hand over the last couple of weeks how destructive the Left can be. Democrats and the media have waged an attack on President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh. The damage is not just done to him and his family however; it has caused chaos throughout the entire nation.
Last week, we watched Democrats dangle Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, in front of the nation and feminists lapped it up. The Left’s rhetoric pushed people, especially women, to see through the lens of emotion, ignoring the fact that we are a nation of laws that assume everyone innocent until proven guilty. Meanwhile, liberal activists, some well-paid, stormed Capitol Hill to spew hatred and harass Senators. This lack of civility has only hurt their cause by infuriating Senators who are making up their minds. This is not the first time that liberals have used extreme ploys to force their ideology on the public.
Feminists have used issues such as sexual assault, abortion, birth control, and women in the workplace as a weapon against men. They have shamed men into staying silent, which has advanced harmful policies and shifted the mindsets of our young generation. To claim that men cannot have a voice in these issues is saying that they cannot fully contribute as fathers, husbands, or sons. It also turns away great leaders who do not want to go through something that looks like the 17th Century Salem witch trials. We cannot let our children be indoctrinated by an ideology that tears apart families and the structure of our nation.
The confirmation vote will likely be scheduled for this weekend or early next week following the FBI’s investigation report. As of now, Kavanaugh’s confirmation looks promising. His only request has been that people pray Psalm 40 over his family.
