Eagle Forum PAC Endorses Hung Cao for VA-10

Eagle Forum PAC is proud to endorse Hung Cao for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 10th District of Virginia over incumbent Jennifer Wexton.

“Hung Cao’s credentials, leadership skills, and personal story make him an impressive candidate for Virginians. As a recent immigrant, he graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology and decided to give back by serving his new homeland through military service. He was accepted into the US Naval Academy in Annapolis where he began a twenty-five-year military career in Special Operations. Cao desires to continue his defense of every individual as a member of Congress – born and unborn. In this political climate, we need a representative like Mr. Cao who knows how to fight and is committed to safeguarding our Constitutional freedoms of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” stated Eagle Forum President Kris Ullman.

“The race between Mr. Cao and Democrat incumbent Jennifer Wexton is a dead heat. We urge all voters in the tenth district to support Hung Cao,” Tabitha Walter, Executive Director of Eagle Forum said. “The differences between these two candidates could not be sharper. Last year, Rep. Wexton became the co-chair of the House Democrats’ Transgender Equality Task Force and a member of the Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus. Her outspoken support for the Equality Act is an attempt to erase women, allow men into women’s private spaces, and deny individuals their religious liberties. These actions, along with her extreme stance on abortion, are out of step with Virginians and it shows in the polls. Mr. Cao opposes such measures because, as a father of daughters, he knows the importance to girls of having their privacy protected.

“Hung Cao exemplifies the American dream – an immigrant grateful for the opportunities he has as an American and willing to fight to protect those opportunities for the next generation. An amazing military career that has taken him to volatile areas of the world showed him the impact of America and her policies on the citizens at home and abroad,” said Virginia voter and Eagle Forum State Leader Andrea Houk. “He has been a tireless campaigner, meeting the people in his district, listening to and learning about their concerns, and promising to fight for them in the U.S. House of Representatives. He, like Eagle Forum members, supports a conservative philosophy of limited government, national sovereignty, and traditional values.”
