Alton, Ill. – As we await the results of the Presidential Election, Eagle Forum is honored to endorse Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue in the runoff contest for both of Georgia’s U.S. Senate Seats.
Georgia Eagle Forum President Suzi Voyles issued the following statements:
Kelly Loeffler
“Kelly learned the importance of faith, family, and hard work at a young age while growing up on her family farm. She has unapologetically fought to protect the unborn by co-sponsoring landmark bills to protect life. In her short time there she championed fair trade deals like USMCA, and co-sponsored bills to protect and defend 2nd Amendment rights and our national sovereignty. Her strong work ethic and genuinely kind demeanor makes her a strong advocate for our farmers, veterans, and small businesses. Georgia and the United States Senate are fortunate to have her.”
David Perdue
“Having personally know David and his wife, Bonnie, for a number of years makes me even more grateful that he is willing to serve Georgia in the U.S. Senate. David has decades of experience in the private sector making businesses financially successful. His strong moral character and positive vision for America to continue to form a more “perfect union” are an asset to help us turn back the tide of socialism. His ability to forge bi-partisan participation to produce opportunity zones and fund HCBUs makes it clear that David Perdue is the statesman Georgia and the country needs.”
Democrats have funneled millions of dollars into Georgia races to gain a liberal stronghold in the state and upset the balance in the Senate. After the votes were counted, no candidate was declared a winner after coming up short on the required number of votes. The state of Georgia has scheduled a runoff election for January 5, 2021. Eagle Forum PAC will support Senators Loeffler and Perdue in their races to retain their Senate seats.
