EAGLE FORUM PAC CONGRATULATES CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATES, ACTIVISTS IN 2022 ELECTIONS
Eagle Forum PAC Wins 5 out of 5 Senate Races
Statement of Eagle Forum President Kristen A. Ullman

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Today, Eagle Forum PAC congratulates the numerous conservative candidates that won election on Election Day and the countless Eagle Forum members who have worked tirelessly over the years to fight for God, Family, and Country.

Thanks to our donors, supporters, and volunteers, all 5 Senate candidates Eagle Forum PAC supported have won.

      • Senator Mike Lee (R-UT)
      • Senator-elect Ted Budd (R-NC)
      • Senator-elect Eric Schmitt (R-MO)
      • Senator-elect JD Vance (R-OH)
      • Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI)

Eagle Forum supported candidates in the House, Representatives Mary Miller (IL-15), Keith Self (TX-03), Bob Good (VA-05), Alex Mooney (WV-02), John James (MI-10) have won their races in the House of Representatives, contributing to the crucial expected Republican majority in the House.

The most encouraging election of the night was the re-election of Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) who set an example of common-sense conservatism that should be followed by others.  He protected businesses and families during COVID, fought to get students back in the classroom, battled woke corporations like Disney to protect the hearts and minds of children, supported policies that prevent dangerous surgical and pharmaceutical treatments on kids with gender dysphoria, safeguarded parental rights and refused to back down to the corporate media bullies. We look forward to working with Governor DeSantis in the years to come.

Eagle Forum At-Large Board member and Nebraska state leader Kathy Wilmot has been elected to the Nebraska Board of Regents, an eight-member executive board having oversight of the University of Nebraska. Our Eagle Forum network of state-based chapters share the mission of mobilizing and mentoring grassroots conservative activists to impact public policy at all levels of government, from Congress to state legislatures, to local commissions and boards. Congratulations and thank you to Kathy for not only your commitment to Eagle Forum but to the students and taxpayers of Nebraska.

In South Carolina, Eagle Forum PAC endorsed Superintendent of Education candidate Ellen Weaver in both the primary and general election. She defeated her opponent Lisa Ellis, who was endorsed by the SC Educators Association, by 10% points. Ellen Weaver is the co-founder, along with former SC Senator Jim DeMint, of the Palmetto Promise Institute to advocate for conservative policies that result in less government encroachment on the American people.

One of the most encouraging takeaways from last night is the victories by Governors who stand with parents and children and against the radical transgender ideology.

Governor Kay Ivey of Alabama, who signed the VCAP bill into law was re-elected by 2/3 of Alabama voters. Additionally, Gov. Bill Lee (R-TN) who has stated he will sign legislation protecting children from mutilating gender surgery was also re-elected. Re-elected Governors Greg Abbott in Texas and Governor DeSantis in Florida have also been outspoken in their defense of children.  Conservatives who are willing to take the time to explain and expose this radical agenda are rewarded by the voters. This is a lesson for not only elected officials but also grassroots advocates.  As we have seen with Alabama Eagle Forum, it is possible to stand up and fight – and win – against the Biden Administration and those who wish harm upon our children.

Our Eagle Forum members and supporters fought for candidates and policies that protect life, limit government spending, control illegal immigration, and protect the rights of parents and children. President Biden, Speaker Pelosi, Majority Leader Schumer and the rest of the political left have made their priorities clear: allow abortion-on-demand-until-birth, defend unlimited illegal immigration, destroy America’s ability to be energy independent, spend our money recklessly (and too often without Congressional approval), impose job and mental health destroying COVID policies, promote radical ‘gender identity’ ideology in schools and push harmful medical treatments on vulnerable children.

Eagle Forum and its volunteers are soaring to new heights in the fight to preserve America and the values we hold dear. We look forward to working with the new Congress, state Houses, Governors, and all like-minded Americans to strengthen families, hold government accountable and protect and defend our Constitution. Let’s keep the faith and never, never, never give up!
