Fiscal Conservative Fighter: Rep. Nancy Mace
This week, we’re wrapping up Women’s History Month with another interview with a rockstar Conservative House Member. Freshman Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) fought for responsible government spending for years while in the South Carolina legislature. She even earned the title, “Most Fiscal Conservative,” in the SC statehouse!
With the signing of Biden’s $1.9 trillion “COVID” relief bill into law, we are grateful to have another Republican dedicated to wiping out government waste at the Federal level. The most recent targeted COVID relief bill was signed into law only in January and together with previously enacted stimulus laws, over $1 trillion remain unspent. Now, there’s another almost $2 trillion waiting to be spent! It’s pretty evident Congress and the Presidential Administration have lost a sense of how to budget money and spend it wisely. We hope Congresswoman Nancy Mace can help!
Congresswoman Mace serves in the House Committees on Transportation and Infrastructures, Oversight and Reform, and Veterans’ Affairs. She graduated magna cum laude from The Citadel and was the school’s first female to graduate from its Corps of Cadets in 1999. She also has a master’s degree in Mass Communication from The University of Georgia. Mace is a single mother of two children.
