Good morning, America,
Today is Election Day!
The people will make the choice,
Who will go, and who will stay.

This year has been traumatic,
Many families torn apart.
Voices were not symphonic,
Who to believe, was hard to chart.

So many voices screaming,
Their way was the only path.
It seems like bad dreaming,
It all has come to that.

Civil conversation,
Left the media airways.
We’ve seen a realization,
How destructive words don’t pay.

It’s time for reconciliation,
For our country to survive.
It’s with great anticipation,
We wait for results to be live.

May truth prevail today!
Let the vote be one to save,
This dear land as the home,
Of the free and the brave.
