Contact Your Representative to Thank them for Upholding President Trump’s Agenda
House Democrats, along with 7 Republicans*, passed a budget that not only left out $5 billion in wall funding, but also repealed a pro-life policy that bans funding for overseas abortions. This was just a tactic for Democrats to try to say that they made an attempt to open the government. However, their refusal to work with the President on strong border security has been the hold-up.
Fortunately, the House is as far as H.R. 21 will go. The President issued a veto threat, and Senate Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) promised to not entertain any vote in the Senate that the President did not agree on.
As the shutdown continues, your Congressman needs encouragement to continue to vote against any attempt to thwart the President’s agenda. They are getting multiple calls every day asking them to give in to a liberal agenda. The future of our nation is at stake.
