The Christians Confronting the Culture Initiative, co-sponsored by the National Eagle Forum and Blackstone Institute, is delighted to announce a superb addition to our leadership team. Dr. Pat Daugherty, current editor of Eagle Forum’s ‘Eagle Insights” is bringing her extensive knowledge and experience to CCC as Consultant on Academic and Professional Programs and Activities. A career university administrator with a stint as an Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Georgia, plus an expansive list of other qualifications, Pat will be wearing several hats with the CCC. She is already editing CCC publications, and she and Virginia are brainstorming the expansion of CCC to include an arm specifically dedicated to reaching America’s academic community.
CCC is prayerfully planning to bring a leadership team to the Educational Policy Conference in St. Louis in January 2020. We hope have the opportunity to demonstrate some of the multiple educational activities and programs we have been developing for years through the Blackstone Institute – e.g., a moot court demonstration, panel discussion with four highly qualified and experienced Blackstone teacher/leaders Virginia hopes to bring (including Blackstone’s new Vice President, Pat Sims, a USAFA graduate), and an introductory presentation to CCC and this proposed CCC program. Plans are currently under discussion.
