Rich Bureaucrats Get Richer

The Ivy League and the federal government might sound like strange bedfellows. However, I know of no other connection that more powerfully illustrates the depth of the swamp in D.C. Recently, our organization at OpenTheBooks.com investigated and found that during a six-year period, the eight colleges of the Ivy League reaped $42 billion in U.S. taxpayer subsidies, special tax breaks, and federal payments on contracts and grants.

“Honest” history? Don’t fall for the scam.

It is hard not to have whiplash from trying to follow the constantly changing media versions of what is included in school curricula today. The first response to parents’ and taxpayers’ concerns about Critical Race Theory was that it is not really being taught – silly us. Now the assertion is that those in charge (teachers’ unions and the Biden Department of Education) are simply trying to promote the teaching of “honest” history. Wrong again.
