Eagle Council 54: Leading the Flock Forward

There is a Banner over us,
Held by the Spirit of the Lord.
Each generation’s duties must,
Include upholding this reward.

Deep in the veins of Americans,
Flows this Spirit of Liberty,
That was sired in true garrisons,
Praying to keep this country free.

Our history’s full of miracles,
Only God could have designed.
He worked through individuals,
Giving great wisdom to their minds.

The light that shined so bright
On our Star-Spangled Banner,
Comes from the heavenly light,
Emanating from our Savior.

Jesus Christ is the leader,
Keeping America free.
He guides every believer,
To protect our liberty.

His Holy Spirit works today,
Since this battle is not over.
If we listen when we pray,
We too have our marching orders.

It’s Jesus Christ who motivates
Us to defend our city gate,
And let the Light of God permeate,
Against the darkness formed by hate.

With the Sword of the Spirit,
Which is the Word of God,
We are inspired when we hear it,
To walk fearlessly beyond.

Reagan said each generation
Had the same responsibility.
To keep this sovereign nation,
It takes grit and tenacity.

Eagle Council fifty-four,
Has raised The Banner to follow.
We each march onward to ensure,
God will keep our country hallowed.
