This was a tough week for those of us who oppose expanding gambling in America.  The Supreme Court voted 7-2 to ban the 1992 law known as the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA) because it violates the anti-commandeering rule of the U.S Constitution.

We are all waiting and watching for the Supreme Court to give us their ruling on sports gambling expansion in America. They are posting rulings on April 24, 25 and 30. So, the answer could come soon.

State Eagle Forums around the country should be aware of a very important case coming before the U.S Supreme Court on Dec. 4. Christie vs NCAA is an effort to overturn the federal ban on sports gambling outside Nevada. Just think of the implications.
