What is blocking your view,
Are you living in a tomb,
Do you not know what to do,
Is life full of darkness and gloom?
Have you strived for perfection,
In this overwhelming world?
Does it seem there’s no protection,
As around you danger has swirled.
If life is full of starkness,
And actions just habitual,
Let ‘The Light’ shine in your darkness,
The two are not compatible.
It’s time to rise and break out,
God’s Son has shown you how,
Nothing is too difficult,
He hears your cries right now!
He sees your hard stony heart,
And the reasons for your defense,
He offers you a new start,
And freedom from offense.
Let the past be buried,
Under a pile of big rocks,
Let all guilt and shame be carried,
Away forever from your thoughts.
So, listen closely for His voice,
He speaks softly to your heart,
He always gives you a choice,
Hear the wisdom He imparts.
Your decision is eternal,
When you break free in His Love,
No more living as nocturnal,
‘His Light’ always shines from above!
