Janine Hansen, the National Issues Chair for Eagle Forum, will be at the Nebraska State Capitol to address Legislators and other interested individuals on Thursday, February 15, 2018. Janine is an expert in the subject of the Article V convention of states as a result of the experience gained from research and speaking she began in the 1980s.
Janine has presented information to numerous State Legislatures concerning the dangers and unintended consequences of the proposed Article V constitutional convention of states being promoted by Convention of States, Wolf PAC, and others. In addition, Ms. Hansen has presented testimony in hearings and has debated Mark Meckler, President of Citizens for Self Governance.
Janine will address why the Article V constitutional convention of states is not an acceptable risk for our Nation. Currently pending in the Nebraska Legislature are LR6, LR268 and what is known as “The Faithful Delegate” bill, LB1058, all of which are pertinent to Ms. Hansen’s presentation.
The informational meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m., allowing time for discussion and questions. It is important that Eagles and other conservatives take this opportunity to let Legislators know we want our Constitution protected. Following the presentation attendees can visit Legislative offices with the message, “Say NO to an Article V constitutional convention of states.”
