Remembering Charlie…
One year ago, Eagle Forum members from across the nation were in Washington, D.C. for Eagle Council 53 when we got the news that Charlie Kirk had been assassinated. In fact, we learned of the shooting shortly after leaving a briefing at the White House while heading to a day of grassroots lobbying on Capitol Hill. We were shocked and grieved but grateful that we could find comfort in being together. The unfathomable loss of such an outstanding ambassador for conservative principles further convinced us that we must continue to fight for Faith, Family and Freedom!
We are now just two weeks away from the start of Eagle Council 54 – this time in Nashville, TN! We stand and fight for the most worthy cause … honoring God, family and country – just as Charlie did.
Today, we remember the legacy of Charlie Kirk and pray for his family and the millions of lives he touched.
We vow to continue our 54-year legacy of Faith, Family, and Freedom – and ask you to join us in Nashville on September 24-26. Registration closes in one week, on September 17th.
