Ricketts consistently champions the Constitutional rights of every American and has voted to rein in the federal government through deregulation and cutting taxes. He believes that strong families produce a strong nation, so he has been a leader on legislation protecting babies in the womb, supporting pregnant mothers, defending parental rights, and shielding children from extreme ideologies. In addition, he has spoken out against the proliferation of addictive drugs that plague Nebraska communities.
