PRESS RELEASE
For Immediate Release: April 15, 2024

America lost a heroine of the pro-life, pro-family cause on Sunday. We are saddened to hear of the homegoing of Beverly LaHaye, wife, mother, and founder of Concerned Women for America (CWA). We are comforted to know she is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Eagle Forum has had the privilege of working alongside Mrs. LaHaye and all Concerned Women on issues of importance to women and families.  When Eagle Forum Founder Phyllis Schlafly formed the RNC-LIFE organization to ensure the Republican Party platform remains pro-life, she invited Mrs. LaHaye to be one of the original board members in recognition of Mrs. LaHaye’s commitment to protecting the unborn through prayer, education, and advocacy.

We join in expressing our condolences to the LaHaye and CWA families. May her remarkable life of service to God, commitment to family, and dedication to American values be an inspiration to all.

Eagle Forum was founded by Phyllis Schlafly, a dynamic and charismatic leader who inspired countless women and men to participate in the process of self-government and public policy-making so that America will continue to be a land of individual liberty, with respect for the nuclear family, public and private virtue, and private enterprise. For nearly fifty years, Eagle Forum’s network of state organizations has led the charge to mobilize the grassroots to defend the founding principles of the United States.
