Schlafly Agrees With Fiorina: RNC Not CNN
Should Be In Charge Of Debate

St. Louis, MO:
Phyllis Schlafly released the following statement today about the upcoming CNN debate on September 16th at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California:

“I have never understood why the Republican Party would allow CNN or any of the other avowedly liberal TV networks to control Republican debates,” said CEO and Founder of Eagle Forum Phyllis Schlafly. “CNN has a record of poor conduct in Republican debates, especially Candy Crowley’s performance in 2012. Now, CNN is using their own standards to block Carly Fiorina from competing in the upcoming debate at the Reagan Library. The Republican Party and its leadership should take back control of these primary debates and not leave things up to CNN.”
