Eagle Forum PAC is pleased to endorse Ted Budd to represent North Carolina in the U.S. Senate in the November elections.
“Representative Ted Budd has a proven conservative record in the U.S. House of Representatives. He has voted to oppose the left’s ‘woke’ agenda, uphold our Constitutional rights, and reign in government spending,” stated Eagle Forum President Kris Ullman. “He has never shied away from taking a tough vote.”
Currently, Rep. Budd has a 100% rating on the Eagle Forum Scoreboard. When Democrats inserted a provision into the National Defense Authorization Act that would require young women to register for the military draft, he voted against it even though many of his colleagues voted in favor. On multiple occasions, the left has tried to revive the Equal Rights Amendment, and every time, Rep. Budd has opposed these efforts.
“Mr. Budd’s opponent Cheri Beasley has promised to pass the Equal Rights Amendment, repeal the Hyde amendment, and codify Roe v. Wade,” said Eagle Forum Executive Director Tabitha Walter. “Her leftist agenda does not represent the families of North Carolina. Mr. Budd has proven time and time again that he will vote to protect every individual, from the womb to tomb.”
