Cruz to Join Presidential Candidates at Eagle Council

St. Louis, MO: Senator Ted Cruz (TX) will join several other Republican presidential contenders in addressing Eagle Forum’s 44th annual Eagle Council training conference. The event will host several hundred grassroots leaders and activists from around the country that will assemble to hear expert speakers and authors and receive practical training to defend their conservative values. Several of the major presidential hopefuls will be in attendance throughout the weekend to present their vision for America.

“I am very excited that Senator Cruz can join the program this year,” said Phyllis Schlafly. “He has become a major presence among conservatives since his election to the Senate and he has taken many bold stands on the Senate floor. We are happy to have him address and take questions from our national leaders. Eagle Council is the best training that grassroots activists can get, and I am sure that getting to know Ted Cruz and other candidates next month will help us nominate a solid conservative leader to represent our party in 2016.”

Eagle Council will be held in St. Louis, MO at the St. Louis Airport Marriott, September 11 through 13, 2015.
