Replacing fossil fuels with energy from solar and wind is vastly more expensive and less efficient. Plus, solar arrays and wind turbines cannot even be built without the use of petroleum and coal-producing electricity. Do these green-niks think we are that dumb?
Several years ago, I visited a wind farm and was overwhelmed by the sound of one wind turbine. To call a wind farm “loud” is not enough. A wind farm is so loud that you cannot hear yourself think. No, we should not pollute the amber waves of America with an inefficient, short-term energy source that requires government subsidies.
