Recently, the House passed the American Dream and Promise Act (H.R. 6). Now, Senate Leadership has allowed it to be placed on the calendar for a vote. This bill makes a mockery of the President’s border security efforts.
H.R. 6 will give 4 million illegal aliens a free ride to American citizenship. Those claiming they entered the country before the age of 18 as well as those who have Temporary Protected Status (TPS) will be given permanent work permits and a pathway to citizenship.
Not only will this massive amnesty bill take a toll on our jobs, it will take money out of our own pockets. The Congressional Budget Office projected that the cost of this bill will be $34.6 billion paid for by American taxpayers.
Liberals continue to push forward their agenda of open borders to the detriment of American citizens. Your Senator needs to hear from you!
