Last week, President Obama nominated Judge Merrick Garland to fill the Supreme Court vacancy caused by the untimely death of Justice Antonin Scalia. Most Senate Republicans continue to insist that the vacancy should only be filled by the next president, but the Left isn’t accepting that position quietly. Senators are in recess for the next week and a half, and during that time, liberal activists will be crowding their offices, melting their phone lines, and blasting them on social media.
The Senate needs to hear from you. Call or email your senators and urge them to let the American people decide the future of the Supreme Court. Don’t let President Obama tip the balance of the Court on his way out the door; the next president should make this appointment.
