It is always wise for the right hand to have a clear view of what the left hand is doing, but dealing with a foe like Communist China requires special gymnastics. Going from stealth to outright hostility and back, the Communist Chinese work tirelessly to infiltrate our systems while trying to appear cooperative when it suits their purpose. Since everything is strategic, including the Chinese government’s varying responses to the coronavirus outbreak, it is critical that our nation’s leaders keep a close eye on that left hand.
