Republicans Should Squash Proxy Voting Efforts

House Democrats are quickly working behind-the-scenes to silence the voice of the American people by eliminating transparency and accountability. On Thursday, April 22nd, they may hold a vote to change the House rules to allow proxy voting. If this measure passes, a member will be able to cast a vote for another member who is not physically present. This leaves the door open for untold corruption and facilitates the swift passage of potentially dangerous and unread bills.
