Phyllis Schlafly’s Life LIVES through Eagle Forum

September 5, 2018

My mother, Phyllis Schlafly, went to be with our Savior two years ago on September 5, 2016. Since then, Eagle Forum has been guided by our founding mother’s legacy as the organization has transitioned from one voice to many voices. Eagle Forum embraces her priorities of God, family, and country by actively engaging in both the political and social arenas.

Phyllis Schlafly and Anne Schlafly CoriI know that Phyllis Schlafly would be proud that Eagle Forum is flourishing. In the last two years, Eagle Forum has reopened our Washington, D.C. office to effectively lobby legislators. The Eagle Forum Report as the successor to the Phyllis Schlafly Report (a name change that she requested) continues. Our timely email alerts keep Eagles informed to ensure our effectiveness. As a result, we have welcomed more than a dozen new chapter leaders across the country.

The sanctity of LIFE has always been a first principle for Eagle Forum and we value LIVES. With the Coalition for Life and Liberty we are focusing on a pressing crisis in the rise of human trafficking and the cheapening and debasing of human life. Our policy makers have yet not recognized this serious problem and we need to alert them and all Americans to its urgency.

Eagle Forum is committed to bringing this important issue to the forefront. Human trafficking and sexual slavery are enabled by easy illegal immigration and porous borders plus the social costs of widespread drug abuse, pornography, and broken families. Eagle Forum Report will continue to publish and educate on the serious problems facing America. Please order extra copies of our monthly newsletters and distribute to your friends and representatives. Eagles are pressing legislators to enact good legislation to protect children. We must rescue the children from the evil predators and protect children from sex trafficking and all exploitation. We are making this issue a priority for policy makers because every life matters.

I treasure your support and admiration of my mother and I am grateful for your continued membership in Eagle Forum, founded by Phyllis Schlafly in 1975. The Eagle Forum Board of Directors is comprised of 11 women — all of whom were chosen by Phyllis Schlafly and worked side-by-side with her for decades. These volunteer leaders are committed to preserving and expanding her beautiful vision.

We need your prayers, financial support, and active vigilance to keep our freedoms in the United States. Please join us and be generous to this important cause. We are not weary, but rise up like Eagles! I thank you in advance for your faithful support.

Much love,

Anne Schlafly Cori
Chairman, Eagle Forum
