Washington, D.C.: Eagle Forum PAC, a conservative public policy organization founded by pro-family leader Phyllis Schlafly, is proud to endorse Congressman John Fleming to represent Louisiana in the U.S. Senate. Mrs. Schlafly released the following statement:
“When Louisiana voters go to the polls later this year to elect a new U.S. senator, they will choose from several candidates calling themselves ‘conservative.’ Only one candidate, however, has the record to prove it, and that is Congressman John Fleming.
“Dr. Fleming has been a courageous congressman. In fact, he has a 100% rating with Eagle Forum for this Congress. Dr. Fleming has fought alongside us on the issues we care most about, such as immigration, education, and unborn life. He stands by his conservative principles no matter who opposes him.
“We don’t have to settle for an establishment candidate who would disappoint conservatives in the Senate. Dr. Fleming has served with distinction in the Navy, as a physician, and in the House of Representatives, and we know he would make a great senator.”
Eagle Forum PAC supports candidates who are committed to a conservative philosophy of limited government, national sovereignty and traditional values.
