St. Louis, MO: Phyllis Schlafly, conservative icon and founder of Eagle Forum, is set to release a new book titled How The Republican Party Became Pro-Life. This book, her 26th published work, will detail the history of how conservatives were able to not only embed pro-life language in the Republican platform, but make it essentially impossible to run as a Republican without being pro-life.
“Today, on the 44th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, tens of thousands of pro-life Americans marched on our nation’s capitol,” said Phyllis Schlafly. “This is one of the longest-running gatherings of Americans who stand to defend the unborn, but there is another battle coming this year that we must face. The Republican Party platform has defended unborn life since the Roe decision, and we have fought every convention to make sure it stays that way.
“This year we need conservatives to seek to be delegates to the Republican National Convention. We must defend the pro-life language that I and so many other activists fought for in the 1970s and 1980s. This is a critical plank of the GOP platform that we know will come under attack. My new book details the history of our fight to turn the Republican party pro-life and it is a MUST have for all conservative activists in 2016! We need you to stand with us this July in Cleveland. This book will give you the history and tools you need to help us this summer. I hope to see you in Cleveland!”
This book will be available for purchase online at www.RNCLife.org in the coming weeks.
