Dear Eagle Leaders,

I have lost my mother, but I still have a hundred mothers in Eagle Forum.

The loyal Eagle Leaders, who have worked alongside Phyllis Schlafly for many years, have carefully watched me grow up. You have been my mother’s best friends who have stood faithfully by her through countless battles. I am forever grateful to each of you.

My mother loved hearing about the achievements of all the Eagle volunteers! She loved giving out the “Eagle Awards” to celebrate their successes. We agreed when she would ask me, “aren’t you impressed by this exceptional group of women?”

Over the last year, I have had the pleasure of talking with and spending much more time with many Eagles across the country. Their dedication to God, Family, and Country is astounding, and their dedication to my mother is humbling.

There is no other comparable organization in America built solely on a foundation of passionate volunteers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your years of committed, effective leadership for our country. As my mother would say, “There is so much work to be done” and, with God’s guidance, we are called to continue our faithful service.

I am truly blessed to have a hundred Eagle mothers.

Thank you,
Anne Schlafly Cori
Chairman, Eagle Forum
