Obamacare Repeal Revived

Our Capitol Hill sources tell us that members of the House Freedom Caucus, some of Eagle Forum’s greatest friends and strongest allies in the House, have agreed to support the American Health Care Act, the Obamacare Repeal and Replace bill that fell short of passage earlier this year, with the addition of an amendment that allows waivers from certain Obamacare requirements. None of our conservative allies is giving a full-throated endorsement of this bill, but they believe that this amendment provides enough flexibility for states to begin the process of bringing down health care premiums and dismantling Obamacare.

The addition of this amendment has led conservative allies like Heritage Action and Club for Growth to drop their opposition to the bill, although conservatives agree that the bill is not perfect and is only a first step. Eagle Forum has not yet taken an official position on the bill.  We will continue to support conservatives in the House and Senate in their continued effort to fight for conservative reform.

We need you to fight back against the mainstream media and Washington Establishment who blamed House conservatives for blocking the passage of the American Health Care Act, yet, as the articles here and here indicate there were 50 “moderate” Republicans opposing the bill, far more than the 20 conservatives.

Sanctuary City Executive Order

The mainstream media is badly misreporting on the decision of a federal judge in San Francisco. This decision is egregiously extra-legal and blatantly politically motivated. The Judge’s Order does nothing but attempts to embarrass the Trump Administration. The Administration can move forward with the action set forth in the Executive Order because all it does is declare that the Justice Department will enforce existing federal law.

TAKE ACTION!
We need you to fight back against the mainstream media’s distortions by sharing the truth on social media!
