Eagle Forum PAC Endorses Cruz over Dewhurst for U.S. Senate in Texas
Washington, D.C. — Eagle Forum PAC, a conservative public policy organization founded by pro-family leader Phyllis Schlafly, is proud to endorse Ted Cruz as the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate from Texas.
"Ted Cruz' candidacy for U.S. Senate is one of the most exciting races in America. He has already proven to be a fierce defender of U.S. sovereignty and a remarkable champion of conservative values," declared Schlafly.
"While Lt. Governor David Dewhurst increased spending, advocated for raising Texans' taxes, and blocked measures like the ban on invasive TSA searches, Ted Cruz was defending our national sovereignty against the World Court, winning battles to protect life, traditional marriage, our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms, the Ten Commandments, and the Pledge of Allegiance," Texas Eagle Forum President Cathie Adams noted.
"Cruz has captured the attention of conservatives in every state, putting Texas at the forefront of the national debate between true, conservative-minded Americans and Establishment politicians like David Dewhurst," Adams said.
"I urge all of our members, my friends, and everyone concerned with stopping the radical Obama agenda to support Ted Cruz, who will lead the fight to secure our freedoms and defend the Constitution," Adams concluded.
Eagle Forum PAC supports candidates who are committed to a conservative philosophy of limited government, national sovereignty and traditional values.
