Women in Combat: History and Today’s Debate

Elaine Donnelly of the Center for Military Readiness participated in a forum in Washington, D.C. which explored in depth issues surrounding social change in our military. The Center for Military and Diplomatic History (CMDH), sponsored this first-of-its-kind program that took place at the Institute for World Politics in Washington, D.C. on Monday, March 27.  The CMDH, affiliated with the Foreign Policy Initiative, was formed in July 2016 to connect historians to the national security policy community. The program was titled: Women in Combat: History and Today’s Debate.
