Rosalind Kress Haley, 'true southern belle,' dies at 97

Rosalind "Ros" Kress Haley, who has been hailed as a vigorous force for the conservative movement and deemed a "true southern belle," admired for her elegance and resolve, died early Wednesday in Midland Memorial Hospital's Hospice Midland Inpatient Unit after suffering a series of strokes.
