UPDATE on California Homeschooling decision
UPDATE: On February 28, a three-judge California appellate court ruled that under California law, "parents do not have a constitutional right to home school their children." It has just been announced that the California court has agreed to rehear the case. The court rehearing comes on the heels of a massive outcry and movement against the decision. This move means that the original Rachel L. decision will not go into effect right now. For more details, go to Worldnetdaily.com and Pacificjustice.org.

It’s political correctness vs. democracy … whether it’s “educating” our kids, broadcasting one-sided network news or stacking the stories coming out of Hollywood. Democracy and freedom require dialog, free discourse. In their own mind, the politically correct have the correct answers … so what’s there to talk about? Obviously, home schoolers challenge the wisdom of the politically correct. PC has one response to any such force of freedom; they strive to shut it down. Visit Lightofday.net and view our comedy-laced movie. We at Light of Day Films believe that political correctness vs. democracy is the defining issue of our time. Several of us ran the most successful traditionalist entertainment enterprise in history, “Touched by an Angel” … until they shut us down.
