Do we need a pro-life president?
Pro-life voters are being pressured to sacrifice, or somehow downplay, their pro-life convictions in the current presidential race. The argument goes something like: There is little a president can do to limit abortion.
Don't buy it. And don't use it as an excuse to dismiss abortion in favor of issues you consider more important in choosing a president. Abortion may not be your top issue, or it may be equal with a couple of others. But in this wide-open nominating contest, we must be clear. The role of a president in protecting the sanctity of human life is large and growing.

With all your experience in political candidates and campaigns, you know that the race for the White House 2008 is far from over. You also know which of the candidates has never had even a whisper of wavering from his truly deep and consistently, steadfast support of pro-life, pro-family, pro-marriage beliefs. Mike Huckabee is the ONLY HOPE for America. During Mike Huckabee's 10 1/2 years as governor of Arkansas, more pro-life, pro-family legislation was passed than any other state! And with a heavily democratic controlled legislature! Mike Huckabee will do more to unite the Congress than any candidate running, and he will do it without compromising core values. He will bring everyone, democrat or republican to the table and make them understand everyone has the same intrinsic value, enabling real accomplishments and important goals to be reached. He will secure our borders! He will stop Roe, He will pass the Fair Tax. He will help us all work together to make our nation once again become the great nation it used to be! Please don't buy into the Huckabee can't win lie. You yourself talked about this in Dec. 2007, in the article, "Can a Dark Horse Win? Garfield won after a major uphill battle. Mike Huckabee is what America needs now. Every Christian leader needs to do everything it can to get him in to the White House in 2008 or they are just slitting their own throats.
