Pat Boone to appear at Eagle Forum

FRONTENAC — Singer Pat Boone and two Republican presidential hopefuls will headline a three-day meeting here of leaders of the Eagle Forum, a national conservative group.

About 300 forum members are expected to attend the Eagle Council, which will begin today at the Frontenac Hilton hotel and run through Sunday. Forum founder Phyllis Schlafly of Ladue is among several dozen speakers. STLtoday.com, 9-21-07
