John Edwards: Paid Big Money to Talk About the Poors' Empty Pockets

“Poverty,” according to Edwards in a speech he was paid $55,000 to give at the public University of North Carolina, is “the great moral issue facing America.”

While Edwards likes to talk about poverty, his deep-pockets are full; he received more than $285,000 in 2006 from speaking at 9 colleges, including $40,000 from Stanford University and $40,000 from American Jewish University. Sfgate.com, 5-21-07.
