Missouri Senator Claire Mccaskill Disinvited To Speak At A Catholic School Graduation

St. Joseph’s Academy, a Catholic high school in St. Louis, MO, rescinded its invitation to Sen. McCaskill, whose daughter is in the graduating class, to speak at this year’s commencement. The basis for decision: the St. Louis archdiocese forbids giving a public forum to people whose worldviews clash with the principles of the Roman Catholic Church. Sen. McCaskill is an ardent supporter of abortion, embryonic stem cell research, and human cloning. Stltoday.com, 5-2-07.
