What Colleges Don't Teach
Education Secretary Margaret Spellings says that the Federal Government needs some accountability for the billions of dollars the taxpayers pour into university education. That's right, we do; but her plan, to set up a national database to track students, plus a system of testing like No Child Left Behind, is not the solution. Phyllis Schlafly column, 4/11/07

Are you aware that in Kansas Govenor Sebelius wants to use money generated by a private enterprise, the Kansas Turnpike Authority, to fund the state universities?

as a middle-aged female, i decided to take some college courses and was quite surprised at the quality of education in our institutions of higher learning. i had just put two daughters through college and now see what they had experienced firsthand. my american government class was taught by an atheist who was more interested in spewing hatred of the constitution because of the religious inferences. she also hated the "one nation under God" reference in the pledge of allegiance and on our currency. most college profs are liberals and people need to be informed about their children's education. after all, parents are paying for most of it.
