A Peek into Obama's Radical Church
Obama attends Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. Illinois Eagle Fran Eaton, who has studied up on Trinity's teachings, found that Trinity encourages its members to "pledge allegiance to all black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System." "I would feel uncomfortable with a church that used the word 'white' instead of 'black' when it talked about these things," said Fran, who writes for the blog Illinois Review. Fran was quoted by the Associated Press on 2-19-07.

I have to commend Obama's church for a number of items. They go the extra mile trying to take care of people in their community. Any Christian church could learn from this example.
But a couple of issues that are not mentioned initially is that they are one of the few All Black pro-homosexual churches in the country. The leadership strongly critices Israel and easily borders on being anti-semite. They strongly endorse "socialism" as the solution to most government issues (the welfare system certainly hasn't helped the Black community in the past).
I think the author of the story missed some bigger issues that the average American wouldn't agree with. This may also explain why Obama is not favored as highly by the Black community as Hillary is.
